Nicometer

Your help is needed!

The Salachry project is raising funds. Read about it here. But far more importantly Click here to make a pledge.

A Big "Thank You!" to all of you who have pledged so far, and to all of you who are about to, from the C3 Salachry Team.

Total Pledges so far: £10,325 - Make a pledge, watch that Pledge-o-meter rise, it's so close! Let's bring it to the top.

You'll notice the menu up top has changed, and I'm very glad you did because the all new local Amazon store based right here on Craignish Peninsula is ready for action! Scroll down a bit and be part of the legendary ribbon cutting. Or simply just cut to the chase because we both know you're ever so curious.

Please register or log in to the forum to use the services here with ease. It's not required, but I'm sure you'll find it handy. Read more about the forum or just have a browse above.

Once logged in, click the 'Craignish Net' heading to return here. Select 'always stay logged in' to save time.

Even Hotter News!

Yes folks, it's here!

The grand opening and you are the first to view it. This is the big one, the opening of Craignish Peninsula's Local Amazon Branch.

Craignish Amazon Ribbon Cut
Read about the gimmick here, and the benefits over here, or just have a look for your self right here. But without further ado let me introduce Clive Anderson, Jo Leslie, and the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band to cut the ribbon multi-handed and unleash fabulousness on us all in a cool shopping kind of fashion.
(Well, maybe Jo might show up if I ask him real nice, but the Bonzo Dogs are a defo. Honest.)

Vid of the Week
(This week's pick by: Emma Campbell Webster)

It is a fact of nature: When a honey bee returns to the hive after finding a good source of nectar, it will perform a unique dance for its hive mates, detailing the distance, quality and quantity of the new food supply, and its location relative to the sun.

Sadly, honey bees are mysteriously vanishing in staggering numbers - a crisis known as Colony Collapse disorder - which is alarming considering honey bees are responsible for pollinating one-third of our natural food supply. - Learn more at http://www.helpthehoneybees.com
