You can post here on the calendar without being registered on the site and the steps to posting an event are pretty much the same.

If you're not registered you'll have to leave a few extra details but nothing too taxing, it's beneficial to register as you can then edit or delete your posts as appropriate. (Posts in the calendar need not be deleted once out of date tho, so don't worry about that). You can register here if you havent yet (click the 'Craignish Net' heading at the top of the page to return here once done).

Upon clicking the 'Post Event' link you will see a page like this:

Event Title: Fill in any suitible title for your event here.
Date: The date of your event.
Number of days: If your event spans more than one day, select how many days here.
Link Event To Post: This option allows you to leave a description of the event if required. It is recomended to use this for a brief description, location, and/or contact details where applicable.
Post In: This option selects which board in the Community Forum to post your description on. Just leave this as its default setting.

If you chose not to leave a descripton, that's it! Click 'Post' and the next page you will see will be the main calendar page with your event listed on it. Fabulous!

If you chose to post a description, the next page you will see is this:

Things here are pretty self-explanitory. Just fill in your event details.

Subject: This is the only other essential bit, as the rest is all done already. I suggest that you put in your event title here.
Message Icon: Whatever you like, you can ignore this or just play around.
Additional Options: This is a drop-down menu of...additional options you won't need to bother with. Check them out if you like.

And...that's it! You're done. Click to post the event, and in the next window you will see the Community Calendar window with your event listed.

Repeat as necessary if you've a bunch of events. Happy posting.
