Management White Paper - Security
Security is an issue we all hate to think about in todays modern age, but as your e-mail address and any username of your choice is stored here on the site (if you register on the forum), you'll be wanting some assurance and peace of mind that your information is completely safe. If you worry about exactly where your information goes when you send it to some distant website possibly located anywhere in the world you'll be wanting, and happy, to know about the security measures we take very seriously here at craignish.net. Different webspace hosts provide different security systems, we have searched and researched to find and impliment the best available. When you register here, or leave any posts on the forum, the information is sent in an encrypted form to the server. This information is only de-crypted once it reaches the craignish.net database where each piece of information is then printed into the shells of selected nuts. The nuts are well cured using patented methods to ensure that no data becomes corrupted, laid on a flatbed scanner for digital referencing on demandand, and stored in a large shed on the outskirts of Bristol. The shed is patrolled 24 hours a day by trained security squirrels, all enlisted locally, to guard the nuts ensuring that no third parties will ever get hold of them. If you would like to sponsor a squirrel or support hiring costs, you can make a donation to C3 which will be gratefully accepted. Thanks for your support. |
