xx To and fro to london
January 25, 2009, 02:20:11 PM Tom

I do a return trip down to London on the train every fortnight. If I had another driver or two, or 3, I'd consider driving instead. I'd also deliver loads to and fro for fuel costs etc. Anyone interested on a regular basis?

"What's this Lift Share milarky?"

Lift Share is your personal way to feeling better about your petrol consumption and cost, as well as giving you a rosey warm glow and perhaps even mild smugness at your fabulous help to the community.

It works like this: If you make a regular journey somewhere in an empty car, you could split the costs of fuel with someone who needs a lift in the same direction frequently or just occasionally.

Alternatively, you might be planning a trip to London or Cornwall (or wherever!) and could offer someone a lift. You might also want to see if anyone else is making a similar journey and use one car instead of two.

Or you might simply just need a lift somewhere!

How you use the service is up to your imagination. I do hope you find it useful.

"How does it work?"

Very simply. Try it out, post a journey using either of the links from the main menu and see it here.

When you post a journey you will be transported to the forum's Lift Share posting page. Feel free to explore the forum further, or just click the Craignish Forum logo to return here.

You do not have to register on the forum to use this service, but it has its benefits.
